Bloom Madness

Sixteen plants we are thinking about growing next season. Four rounds of head-to-head matchups. You vote, the losers drop out, and whatever is left standing goes on the bench in spring. Voting opened September 1 and runs four weekly rounds. It takes no sign-up — just pick the one you would rather see. And if you sign up for the drawing and vote at least 3 of the 4 weeks, you could win a $50 gift card.

How it works

Round 1 — The Seed Tray · week of September 1. Sixteen plants, eight matchups. Half of them go home.

Rounds 2 and 3 · weeks of September 8 and 15. The Potting Bench, then the Final Four. Fewer plants, harder choices.

Best in Bloom · week of September 22. One last matchup. We grow the winner.
